Religious education classes are available for children from both parishes who do not attend Prairie Catholic Schools. Students in the first through eighth grade attend classes on Wednesday evenings from 6:45 p.m. through 8:00 p.m. in St. John's Catholic School from September through April. The sacraments of First Holy Communion (Eucharist) and Confirmation are shared celebrations with Prairie Catholic students. Prairie Catholic's CCD Program directors are Joseph & Pat Prochaska.
The teachers are: Noris Moris (1), Laura Meyer (2), Janet Lueck (3), Karla Rogers (4), Traci Chase (5), Katie Lenzendorf (5), Theresa Walsh (5), Angela Fishler (6), Courtney Connor (6), Michael Fox (6), Michael Klema (7), Linda Moser (8), Paul Moris, Amanda Schaefer and Joseph Prochaska as assistants.
